Mgahinga National Park is the smallest of Ugandan conservation areas. It is tucked along the border with Rwanda a continuation of the great Virunga volcanic region hosting 3 of the 8 great series of the Virunga. These include the Mount Sabinyo, Mount Gahinga, and Mount Muhabura along the sloppy hills there is a vast vegetative growth of forested bamboo in which to find the critically endangered species. Mgahinga is the only place in the country to see golden monkeys especially on our 3 Days Golden Monkey Tracking in Mgahinga National Park. These have been named critically endangered. Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Mgahinga National Park
Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by a Salt Holidays company representative /tour driver who will transfer you towards the western part of Uganda passing through the angelic hills and Mountains, the constant greenly environment, we will have lunch en route proceeding through Kisoro town and enjoy the lovely views and welcoming people dinner and staying overnight at

Day 2: Golden Monkey Tracking and Batwa Community Experience
Morning breakfast after which we will be transferred to the park headquarters for a morning briefing from the Uganda wildlife rangers, they will talk to you about the forest and how to conduct yourself while with the golden monkeys, this activity begins at 8:00am in groups we got the forest ,golden monkeys are such angelic creatures they are pretty and fast so if you must take pictures it is advisable to set your Camera ready, the monkeys live in the bamboo forest the trail to the golden monkeys is an amazing one as you will have so much to see while in the forest, upon meeting them, an hour is allowed while with the primates returning for diner and staying overnight at

Day 3: Departure
On this day we will return to Kampala or Entebbe for our international flight back home, depending on the time you arrive one can choose whether to spend a night in Entebbe or proceed to their connecting flight back home.
