3 Days Kalinzu Chimpanzees Trekking Experience . This is a 3 days Uganda safari to Kalinzu forest in Queen Elizabeth National Park for the primate tour , Chimpanzee trekking.
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Depending on your location in Entebbe, you will meet your guide/driver for a transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The journey takes approximately 6-7 hours, including a lunch break en route. Arrive in Queen Elizabeth National with an en-route stop to visit the crater lakes. Check-in at your booked lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Pumba Safari Cottages
Day 2: Chimpanzee tracking in Kalinzu Forest
Have breakfast very early and head to the Kalinzu Forest Reserve for your chimpanzee trekking experience. After receiving a briefing on the activity, you will embark on a trek with your armed ranger guides, where you will encounter chimpanzees and other primates.
The search for the chimpanzees takes approximately 2 to 5 hours, during which you may encounter various forest animals within the forest reserve. Later afternoon, return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay at the lodge as above.
Optional activities you can do while in the area of Queen Elizabeth National Park game viewing and boat cruise—at your own cost.
Day 3: Transfer to Entebbe
Have an early morning breakfast, have lunch, and then embark on a 5-hour drive back to Kampala, where you will connect to Entebbe International Airport to find your evening flight back home.
