5 Days Murchison Falls National Park and Bwindi :  Take on a short safari to Uganda’s Murchison Falls National Park and Bwindi impenetrable national park .

Day 1: Pick up and transfer for Murchison Falls National Park—Ziwa Rhino tracking

Depending on your location in Kampala, you will meet your driver guides and depart to connect to Murchison Falls National Park. While en route, you will visit the Ziwa rhino sanctuary for rhino tracking, have lunch, enter the Kichwabanyobo gate, and then proceed to the top of the falls. Dinner and overnight at the lodge

Accommodation and Meals: Pakuba Safari Lodge, Mid-range

Day 2: Game drive and launch cruise—Hike

After an early breakfast at the lodge, you will go for a morning game drive. The activity takes about 3–5 hours, depending on the animals available, and you will find animals including elephants, Rothschild giraffes, buffaloes, lions, Hartebeest, Uganda Kobs, oribis, and waterbucks.

After the drive, you will return to the lodge for lunch. Later in the afternoon, at 2pm, embark on a launch cruise along the Nile, providing an exciting panoramic view of the mighty Murchison Falls. Along the cruise, you will encounter crocodiles, hippos, and birds on the river banks, like kingfisher, cormorants, and bee-eaters. You will spend time viewing the falls at the bottom while taking pictures, then later return to meet your drive and connect back to your lodge for a relaxed evening.

After viewing the bottom of the falls, hike to the top of the falls, where you will meet your guide and return to your lodge. Transfer you back to your lodge with an en route game drive. Dinner and overnight stay at lodge as above

Day 3: Fly to Bwindi

After breakfast, your guide will drop you off at either Pakuba airport or Bugugu airport for a connecting flight to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Land in Kihihi Airfield, where you will meet your other guide to drive to your lodge. Dinner and overnight stay at Buhoma Haven lodge/Bakiga lodge

Day 2: Gorilla trekking Uganda-Bwindi

After enjoying your early morning breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters with your packed lunch for a briefing by the ranger guides. Later, head into the forest for your trek. Gorilla trekking in Bwindi takes 2 to 8 hours, depending on the movement of the gorillas. These primates roam the park freely, and there is no way to tell where they will be on a particular day.

Once you locate them, you will have an hour to observe and capture photographs of these gentle primates, savor your lunch, meet your driver/guide, and return to your lodge. After trekking, you can either take a village tour or relax at the hotel, relishing the memories of your gorilla trek in Bwindi and getting ready for the next day. Dinner and overnight at Lodge as above

Day 3: Transfer back to Entebbe and Departure

You will enjoy breakfast and transfer back to Kampala with a stopover in Mbarara town for lunch. Proceed to Kampala, arriving in the afternoon. Drop off at your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe airport for your onwards flight.
