8 Days Uganda Safari : Take on a short safari to Uganda safari destinations such as Lake Mburo National Park , Queen Elizabeth National Park , Lake Bunyonyi and many more.

Day 1: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park—walking safari

Pick up from Kampala/Entebbe and drive to Lake Mburo National park. Ancient Precambrian metamorphic rocks, dating back more than 500 million years, underlie the park, making it the smallest of Uganda’s savannah national parks. It’s a 5-hour’ drive to reach the park.

Proceed to Lake Mburo, arriving early afternoon. Check in to the lodge and enjoy lunch. You will conduct a walking safari; this is similar to a game drive except that you will be viewing wildlife on foot and encountering animals like the zebras, impalas, and elephants, to mention a few. Later, return to your lodge for relaxation at Eagles Nest Lodge for budget/Rwakobo Rock Lodge for mid-range/Mihingo Lodge for luxury.

Day 2: Full Day in Lake Mburo

After breakfast in the morning, head out in search of the early risers. On a good day, you might spot the lions and the leopards. Don’t forget to pack your camera to preserve all your memories and to capture every detail of your incredible journey. Return to the lodge for lunch and later go for a relaxing and experiential boat cruise on the lake. Return in the evening to prepare for dinner at the lodge as above.

Day 3: Lake Mburo National Park to Queen Elizabeth National Park

You will have a morning game drive to further explore the park. After the game drive, you will embark on your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park with an en route lunch. Arrive in the park early afternoon and connect to visit the crater lakes. Check-in your lodge and refresh. Day 4: Morning game/Lion tracking drive and afternoon boat cruise.

You will wake up early, have breakfast, and embark on a lion tracking experience, then connect for a game drive in the Kasenyi area with animals like the lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, different species of antelopes, warthogs, and white Colobus monkeys, just to mention a few.

You will then return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, you will go for a launch cruise along the Kazinga channel, where you will get an opportunity to see a number of bird species, including elephants and buffalos, hippos, and crocodiles at the lakeshore. Return and relax at Mweya Safari Lodge/Parkview Safari Lodge/Pumba Safari Lodge as above.

Day 5: Chimpanzee/primate tracking and evening game drive

After breakfast early in the morning, you will depart for chimpanzee tracking in Queen Elizabeth National Park with your tracking gear. The walk generally takes around 2‐5 hours.

After lunch, return to the lodge for lunch and spend the early afternoon relaxing before you connect for an evening game drive. While on this game drive, expect to see the big four, including lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, different species of antelopes, warthogs, and white Colobus monkeys, just to mention a few. After your game drive, return to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 6: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

After breakfast, meet your guide and start your 6-7 hour drive to Kabale—Lake Bunyonyi, stopping for lunch en route. Arrive in Lake Bunyonyi with magnificent views of Lake Bunyonyi down the valley. Lake Bunyonyi is a rather quiet destination and ideal for vacation and adventure. Day 7: Full day Lake Bunyonyi

After an early morning breakfast, explore Lake Bunyonyi with great scenic views of the surrounding hills; connect for a boat ride or canoe paddle; and visit the main islands, including the community. The islands at the lake have a great history that you will love to listen to. Dinner and overnight stay at lodge as above.

Day 8: Transfer to Kampala—Departure

After breakfast, meet your guide and embark on your journey to Kampala with a stopover in Mbarara town for lunch. Proceed to Kampala, arriving in the afternoon. Drop off at your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe airport for your onwards flight.
