This 9 Days Luxury Tanzania Safari Circuit is designed to give you a chance to explore the Northern safari circuit of Tanzania and its amazing destinations including Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Detailed itinerary of 9 Days Luxury Tanzania Safari Circuit

Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport

Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, on arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel in Arusha, settling in after your flight for an evening of rest.

Overnight: Katambuga House

Meal Plan: Dinner

Day 2: Transfer to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, you will begin your safari journey to Tarangire National Park, the drive is approximately 3 hours and once you enter the park, you will spend the day on a game drive with picnic lunch. During the game drive, you will see several wildlife species including lions, leopards, large herds of elephants, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes among others.

In the evening, head to your camps settling in for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Full Day in Tarangire National Park

Spend a full day in Tarangire National Park exploring. Ranked as the 6^th largest national park in Tanzania and covering an area of 2,600 square kilometers. Tarangire National Park is home to a wide range of wildlife including wildebeests, zebras, fringe-eared oryx, hyenas, cheetahs, wild dogs, impalas, Bohor reedbuck among others.

Day 4: Transfer Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, you will depart Tarangire and drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive, with picnic lunch. Lake Manyara National Park is one of the beautiful parks in Tanzania renowned for the rare tree climbing lions, vast elephant herds and a huge population of birds recorded to be more than 400 species. as you explore the park on game drive, you will see several animals including large herds of buffaloes, cheetahs, Masai giraffes and impalas roaming the lake shores and the forested valley slopes.

In the evening, you will drive into the Ngorongoro Highlands settling into your camp.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro Crater for full day of Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive. Descend to the floor of the crater for a game drive, with a picnic lunch. You will spend up to 6 hours on the crater floor before returning to the rim and back to your camp.

Ngorongoro Crater is home to several wildlife species including the Big 5 – lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant, giraffes, hippos, jackals, wild dogs, cheetahs, hyenas, zebras and several bird species including flamingoes on the shores of Lake Magadi.

Day 6: Transfer to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will depart Ngorongoro for Serengeti National Park with en-route visit at Olduvai Gorge where you will see some of the discoveries by Dr. Leakey and his wife displayed in the museum. When you arrive in the park, you will have game drive as you head to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7-8: Serengeti National Park

Spend these two days exploring Serengeti   National Park. On these two days you will do morning and afternoon game drive with picnic lunch, on these game drives you will explore different regions of the park and get to see several animals including lions, leopards, cape buffaloes, rhinos, zebras, giraffes and the Great Wildebeest Migration that is if you visit in the right time of the year.

On one of these days, you will have a hot air balloon flight in the morning and enjoy aerial views of Serengeti and an eye’s view of animals. This experience is concluded with a champagne breakfast served in the bush of Serengeti, toasting to a great experience.

Day 9: Departure

After breakfast, you will bid farewell to Serengeti and return to Arusha where your guide will drop you off at the airport to catch your flight back home, bringing your safari to an end.
