Detailed Itinerary

Day 1.0: Arrival

We will pick you up and transfer you to Kia Lodge for a few hours of rest upon your early morning arrival.

Day 1.1: Pick up and drive to Tarangire National Park, Night Game Drive

Your guide will meet you at the hotel at 12:30 PM after your lunch at the hotel and welcome you for your safari. He will brief you about the safari and thereafter embark on a transfer to Tarangire National Park with a stopover at a mall in Arusha for your last-minute shopping.

You shall proceed to the park, arriving late in the afternoon. Enjoy a game viewing opportunity as you proceed to your lodge of stay. Check in; relax as you wait for dinner. Thereafter, you will head out in the night and watch the sky light the park. Look out for nocturnal animals and listen out for various bird and animal sounds. Return to the lodge thereafter for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Full day in Tarangire National Park with Walking Safari

After breakfast at your lodge, you will embark on a morning game viewing experience in Tarangire National Park. During your morning game drive in the national park, you will search for various wildlife species such as elephants, zebras, hartebeests, waterbucks, gazelles, oryx, and others.

Much later, after lunch, you will embark on a guided walking safari experience, providing an opportunity to get up close and personal with nature and wildlife species, all while enjoying the breathtaking scenery. You will return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park Game Drive

After having breakfast at your lodge, your guide will drive you to Lake Manyara National Park, which is home to tree-climbing lions, elephants, and other wildlife species. You will have a stop in Mto wa Mbu town, where you will visit craft shops and also interact with the locals on your way to the national park.

You will also engage in a game drive, explore Lake Manyara National Park, and enjoy the diverse scenery of the park. You will also look out for different wildlife species around the national park, such as antelopes, gazelles, buffalos, leopards, waterbucks, monkeys, and baboons, among others, as well as different bird species.

Proceed to the lodge thereafter and relax as you wait for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 4: Drive to Ngorongoro, Ngorongoro Crater Drive

After an early breakfast at the lodge, you will be driven to the Ngorongoro conservation area. You will descend into the Ngorongoro crater for a game drive to view wildlife for the rest of the day and also enjoy the beautiful scenery around the crater area where you will look out for various wildlife species such as wildebeests, elands, warthogs, zebras, buffalos, hippos, elephants, lions, hyenas, cheetahs, and leopards.
