Activities/experiences to relish while staying at Singita

Singita Kwitonda Lodge guests are provided a nurturing space within which they can relax while having reminiscences of their incredible face-to-face encounters with the Giant Apes of Volcanoes National Park.

The Lodge’s Akarabo (“little flower” in Kinyarwanda) nursery was born from the commitment of Lodge staff to reforest, rehabilitate, and preserve the country’s natural habitat of endangered mountain gorillas. Starting with about 60,000 saplings that were bought from the local farmers, the garden now has more than 250,000 saplings that existed even before the Lodge was opened and now is making the reforestation goal come true.

Guests are treated to “farm-to-table” experiences while getting filled with the freshest and most organic Rwandan ingredients and spices, hence inspiring healthy and mouth-watering menus. Yoga, cycling, wellness, incredible wine experiences, visits to the Ellen DeGeneres Campus, and community visits are enjoyed by guests.

For park activities, Singita Kwitonda Lodge guests can enjoy gorilla trekking, golden monkey tracking, guided forest walks/hiking, Volcano climbing, and Dian Fossey Gravesite Hikes.
