2 Days Bisoke hike and Twin Lakes tour

Day 2: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

Depending on your location in Kigali, meet with your driver guide and transfer to Volcanoes National Park in Musanze. Upon arrival, drive to the lodge for lunch and spend your afternoon at leisure. Spend your dinner and overnight stay at either the budget-friendly La Palme Hotel, the mid-range Le Bambou Gorilla Lodge, or the luxurious Volcanoes Gorilla Lodge.

Day 2: Bisoke hike—transfer back to Kigali

After breakfast, we will drive you to the park headquarters at Kinigi for a briefing at 7:00 am, after which you will embark on your hiking adventure. The hike will typically take a full day, from 6 to 8 hours, depending on your hiking experience.

During the climb, you will cross a series of different vegetation habitats, starting with bamboo forests, then moving into Hagenia-Hypericum forest and finally moving through Senecio-Lobelia bush near the summit. You will carry your packed lunch with you and some drinks as well. You will later return to your hotel, check out, and embark on your drive back to Kigali. You will be dropped off at the allocation you advise in Kigali.
