Day 1: Pick up, Kilimanjaro Hike

You shall be met by your guide in your hotel in Arusha, and then proceed for a transfer to the foothills of Kilimanjaro Mountain, the highest free standing mountain in the world, and the highest mountain in Africa. You shall proceed to embark on a hike of the Marangu route, which will take you 6 hours to ascend and descend. After, you shall be driven to Moshi town from where you shall have dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater Drive
After a sumptuous breakfast at the lodge, you will drive to the famous Ngorongoro crater where you will visit the world’s largest in-active caldera which has beautiful views and is home to over 25000 animals such as cheetahs, wildebeests, zebras, antelopes, leopards, lions, buffalos, kudu and many others, including the famous African big five. After descending about 600 meters into the Ngorongoro crater, you will also enjoy seeing flamingos in the Ngorongoro crater as you enjoy a game drive and take photos. Thereafter, you will be driven back to the lodge. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 3: Drive to Serengeti National Park

You will have breakfast at your lodge ahead of your drive to Serengeti national park. You will enjoy a drive through the various communities and locals of Tanzania. Look out for the various wild game in the open savannah plains as you look out for wildlife species such as elephants, buffalos, kudu, impalas, elands, waterbucks, lions, leopards, rhinos, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests among others, as you drive to your lodge.

Day 4: Full day Serengeti National Park

You will wake up for an early breakfast at your lodge ahead of a morning and afternoon game drive. You will engage in a morning game drive around Serengeti national park and look out for wildlife species like the big 5 animals say elephants, lions, leopards, buffalos and rhinos as well as wildebeests, zebras, hippos, cheetahs, antelopes, giraffes, impalas, waterbucks among others.

After your morning game drive, you will have lunch and later engage in an afternoon game drive around the national park in search of more wildlife species. After your full day of wildlife viewing, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Prison Island, Spice Tour and Stone Town

You will have breakfast at your hotel and after this you will start your day’s activities.

You shall have a Stone town tour and explore the alleyways of the town as you get to know about the history of Zanzibar and its different cultures. You will take a private boat from Stone town to Changuu Island or Prison Island where you will enjoy seeing the Giant tortoises and during your tour of the island you will also enjoy snorkeling. You will take a boat back from Changuu Island back to Stone town.

On this day you will also engage in a spice tour as you explore the plantations where you will see different exotic spices and also get to know the uses of the spices like cloves, cinnamon, and nutmeg among others. After the spice tour, you will return to your hotel, relax and spend the night.
