Gorilla’s strength.
Gorilla’s strength depends on the different perceptions that is the habitant, diet that accounts for the amount of the foliage that it consumes for instance the bamboo shoots, fruits that are available and among other foods that they feed on. The mountain gorillas are such energetic animal species that take almost 500 meters while searching for its food during the periods of food scarcity. Then during the rainy season when the food is available everywhere they do not move a lot while looking for the food instead they do what it takes to finish the available food.
Gorillas are such strong animal species where they can tend to feed on 18 kilograms of food on a daily basis which builds up strong their bodies and weight where the male gorillas can be weighing from 136kg to 227 kg and for the case adult females they can be weighing between 68kg to 113 kg. Then the average weight of an adult male is about 75 kg to 115 kg and the case of females they can be between 65 kg to 100 kg.
Chimpanzee’s strength.
The chimpanzee’s strength as well results from the diet that it feeds while the way gorillas get their strength from their feeds that the same thing how the chimpanzees do. The chimpanzees feeds on the plants, leaves, insects, fruits, nuts and among others. Chimpanzees do travel through a certain distance as they are looking for the food and they return to their respective territory for the night. While comparing the weight of the chimpanzees. The gorillas are heavier than the mountain gorillas, where the adult female chimpanzees do weigh about 27 kg to 50 kg and the adult male weigh about 40 kg to 70 kgs.
When comparing the strength between the gorilla and the chimpanzee, an average gorilla can weigh 4 to 6 times stronger than a chimpanzee, however there are fights between the chimpanzee and the gorillas that are hard to find because a number of the gorilla families live harmoniously between one another but with various factors, even though the chimpanzee is less strong than the gorilla.
There have been fight outbreaks between the gorillas and the chimpanzees where the chimpanzees have been witnessed while killing the gorillas and this is common among the young ones. Also a gorilla can easily kill more than 10 chimpanzees during a fight due to the fact that they are stronger than the chimpanzees. Among the facts to why the chimpanzees and the gorillas do fight it’s because of if the one of these two tries to encroach each other’s territory.
And on the other hand the chimpanzees do fight the young gorillas because of the cases where the chimpanzees can be affected by food scarcity can kill them for food.
